1 Why Essenburgh Research & Consultancy collects data

5  Data retention

The moment you contact Essenburgh Research & Consultancy by e-mail, the data you’ve submitted, such as your name, company name and e-mail address, will be stored on the mail server. These e-mails are kept for at least two years, so that we can respond adequately in the case of follow-up questions or assignments.

Assignments

We delete personal data within a reasonable amount of time after completing the assignment, unless the law or professional obligations oblige us to retain your data (for example, files that have to be archived by law).

Analysis and research

Data collected through the website are anonymous, and thus aren’t linked to your name, company or e-mail address. Evaluation data from training courses are also anonymous, which means this data cannot be traced back to you. These anonymous data are stored for an indefinite period. Where scientific research is concerned, if applicable, we comply with the Helsinki Declaration and the CCMO (Central Committee on Research Involving Human Subjects).

 

Security

An employee who works on an assignment will process all the data that he/she receives confidentially. Only those who need data to perform the assignment are given access to this data (need-to-know principle). No physical copies of your personal data will be made without your agreement.

Personal data managed by Essenburgh Research & Consultancy or by previously mentioned third parties are protected by encrypted passwords and security software. The devices that are used to access your data are each secured and locked with a password and/or fingerprint.
